Changing Perspective and Mood

There are times when nothing really seems to be going right in your life, when you feel as if the world is pitted against you for some unknown reason and it’s all a big joke being played on you. And truthfully, that’s the scenario you would actually prefer to be happening. Because at the very least, there’s an end in sight: waiting for the world’s joke to finally be revealed to you.

But when you have no answer, no clarity on why everything just seems off and not worth pursuing, it can definitely lead to some dark times that you may not want to speak much about. And that’s okay, because the vast majority of the population can agree they’ve been in such a spot in their lives before. Sometimes, there seems like no answer exists as to why you have to be going through this. And sometimes, there isn’t one.

But the number one thing I’ve taught myself is that the world as you perceive it can be changed in an instant. You can change exactly what you see, how you see it, how you feel, and what you enjoy in a heartbeat. Of course, that sort of knowledge sounds absolutely crazy and impossible to a lot of folks. But seeing beyond the little things in life that are needless and toxic is so much easier said than it is done.

At least, that’s the case at first.

You see, all it takes is action. Action can manifest in cleaning up your house or taking care of your health in minute ways. Take me, for example. I was in a funk about 8 months ago, and I really felt like there was nowhere to turn. No answers revealed themselves to me when I constantly asked “Why me?” But without fail, if I would just get up, do something small for myself or my body, things would seem a little better. And all it takes is building off that.

So what I did was get up and brush my teeth or floss any time I felt a little down. I almost conditioned myself to look at this activity as a productive one, a positive one. And never would I realize at the time that I was stacking two positive experiences on top of one another, reinforcing good habits with good perspective. Sure, it didn’t truly feel like it at the time, but forcing myself to continue looking on the bright side of things meant that I would be able to change my mood or “bad day” in a heartbeat if I truly wanted to.

What referred tooth Pain Is

When you get a toothache, you may wonder if there are any specific symptoms to pay mind to. It can be a sign that the body is telling you that something is amiss. Sometimes though, it may be coming from the teeth period. When the pain goes from one area to where the teeth are, this is called referred tooth pain. there are specific reasons for this happening, causes, and what can be done to help with this.

What is It?

The reason why this type of pain happens is due to the signals of pain that happen around your neural networks. They get changed and modified, which result sin you feeling some kind of pain in one portion of the body, due to the other parts of the body. You can get referred tooth pain for a lot of reasons. Respiratory conditions, recent dental pain, or even problems with your lungs and heart, and other neurological reasons are a major cause of this.

You can also get it for the following:

  • Sinusitis, especially if the nasal passages and teeth tend to be a bit tender and congested. The roots along the upper teeth are close to the sinuses, so if there is an infection, the upper teeth will feel it.

  • Fillings cause tooth pain, especially if it is near other teeth. Usually though, within 2 or so weeks, this is gone.

  • An abscess, so if you have one, this can radiate al throughout the jaw, and even towards your neck and ears.

  • Headaches, especially neurovascular ones. Cluster headaches and migraines usually cause this, and when It’s referred towards the teeth area, it’s known as neurovascular toothaches.

  • Vagus nerve pain.  it can sometimes happen due to sudden problems with this, and if you have a pinched vagus nerve, it goes near the lungs and the heart, and usually, the toothache you feel here is a sign of lung or heart issues, and it can be quite scary.

  • Neurological problems, including trigeminal neuralgia, which does affect your nerves in your face, teeth, and the skull area.

Treatments

When this happens, you can take at-home remedies to help with this, however, you should go to the dentist, for the sole reason of checking if this is an abscess or injury, or perhaps a cavity.

If it is sinusitis though, they may refer the patient to someone else to help with the treatment especially if it means that you may have inflamed sinuses and it’s causing problems. This is a very hard condition to decide on, since it’s something that has a lot of reasons for this. It could be due to migraines, lung and heart issues, and even other problems with the nerves and the organs.

Depending on where in the mouth might be, your doctor will look to see where ethe brain is being transferred from, since they can investigate where the origin of the pain is.

While the pain might not be from dental decay and such, you should make sure to keep up with your royal care. Brushing, flossing, interdental cleanings, and also getting rid of the bacteria is vital for this. Toothaches are something you should never ignore, and if you have a toothache with no causes talk to the doctor now rather than later, since they can look at where it’s coming from, and from there, help to figure out where the pain is signaling from, so you’ll be able to be in the know on the tooth pain that’s there, and what you’re dealing with as well.
